Why do schools contract with Empowered Math?

To Get Exceptional Math Education

School leaders have a lot to take care of when thinking about schoolwide initiatives and professional development.

Empowered Math is laser focused on math education. We’re nerds. We know the curriculums, the conferences, the latest tech, math-specific instructional strategies, and more. Our teachers get targeted trainings to make sure they’re getting the training that will make the biggest impact on their students.

Furthermore, we’re drawing on our network of teachers to provide in-house training, ensuring that our teachers are getting relevant and tested strategies.

Save Time & Money

It costs time and money to recruit, vet, interview and onboard math candidates. If you’re doing this year after year, it’s exhausting and expensive!

Additionally, if you don’t find an experienced educator, you’re spending a lot of resources training and supporting a fresh teacher or an alternative candidate.

Logistics

Sometimes schools don’t need two full time math teachers. What they really need is 1 section of Math 8, 3 sections of Algebra 1, and 4 sections of Geometry. And while there might be educators in their community that could work part time, it gets challenging to recruit and manage several part time employees.

With Empowered Math, schools can specify what sections they need based on enrollment and we can draw on our network of teachers to fill those specific needs.

Schools already contract hard to fill services like food and transportation, speech pathology, and substitute teachers. With Empowered Math, schools can contract their entire math department or just a few sections.
